NAIROBI, KE (September 16, 2019) – It is with great pleasure that Global Minimum Inc. (GMin) welcomes Emmanuel Abdulai as the new Program Manager for InChallenge Sierra Leone, also known as Innovate Salone.
Mr. Emmanuel Abdulai initially volunteered as an intern with GMin in 2012 to assess the implementation of the InChallenge program across Sierra Leone. We are excited to welcome him back. He is joining us with over 10 years of experience in international development and research through consulting agencies, UNICEF and NGO’s in Sierra Leone.
In his role as Program Manager, Emmanuel will lead the design and implementation of the InChallenge Program in addition to operations in Sierra Leone. In 2012, GMin began its flagship program InChallenge or Innovate Salone which expanded to Kenya and South Africa. With Emmanuel’s leadership, GMin aims to strengthen and expand our programming throughout Sierra Leone over the next 3 years.
“I’m excited to help young people in Sierra Leone and help build a protective environment for youth and kids.”
Emmanuel recently moved back to Sierra Leone from Texas, USA, because he wants to give back and contribute to the socio-economic development of Sierra Leone.
Global Minimum Inc. is a non-profit organization that catalyzes a culture of innovation through hands-on learning experiences, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills among youth. Currently, in Sierra Leone and Kenya, GMin programs inspire young people to solve problems in their local communities. Over the next 3 years, GMin aims to strengthen its organizational capacity and financial sustainability so that more schools and community centers across Africa will be equipped to train the next generation of inventors.
